Psalm OF THANKSGIVING

Oh, My soul rejoices.

I give thanks to the LORD!

The LORD saved me from despair,

rescuing me from the shadow.

This poor spirit wept with pain,

grief hiding away the anger.

I pray with my hands pressed together to thee for relief.

The LORD freed me from hopelessness,

releasing me from devious evil.

This body of mine fragile with fear,

numbness devouring all over.

I pray with my head bowed down to thee for restoration.

The LORD rescued me from abandonment,

guiding me from being misled.

This deceived mind with blurred vision,

consumed with endless fatigue.

I pray on my knees to thee for comfort.

The LORD redeemed me from sin,

washing me clean from His blood.

This flesh of mine that was once corrupted,

new life has now begun.

I pray with my hands lifted to thee for worship.

Oh, my soul rejoices.

I give thanks to the LORD!

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!

Praise be to the LORD!
